The man was allegedly abducted, assaulted and robbed in Westmead

Police are asking for information after a man was allegedly abducted and attacked in West Sydney last night.

Police said the 46-year-old was walking down Church Avenue in Westmead yesterday at 8:40 p.m. when a white van stopped next to him and two men got out and dragged him into the van.

He was allegedly assaulted and kicked before taking car keys, a wallet and a telephone from his pocket.

Police were told that a silver Honda CRV burned at Bathurst Street Park in Greystanes around 11:10 p.m. (9 news)

He stayed on the side of Bruce Street, Merrylands.

It is assumed to be a man’s vehicle.

The men were found by Bruce Street police officers and treated by NSW Ambulance rescuers on the spot for cuts and swelling in the face.

A crime scene was established in Greystanes and police officers launched an investigation.
