Nintendo announced this week’s release dates for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Splatoon 3. And now, to add to that, the file sizes have also seemingly been revealed through the official website. We also have a size Nintendo Switch Sports.
So what are we looking at in each game? Here’s how much space you’ll need to do if you opt for the digital version.
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – 15.0 GB
Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is approximately 15.0 GB in size. By comparison, the base game Xenoblade Chronicles 2 was about 13.2 GB. The first game on the Nintendo Switch is about 13.7 GB.
Splatoon 3 – 6.0 GB
Splatoon 3 is close to the second game, which had 6.1 GB. Splatoon’s first Wii U game was just 1.8 GB at the time of release.
Nintendo Switch Sports – 1.4 GB
Nintendo Switch Sports will launch around 1.4GB on April 29, but more free content updates are planned to allow players to play Football with Leg Strap, and golf will be added in the future.
As usual, these file sizes may change before the official release of each game. Even if they are not dead on the size of the starting games, they should at least be an indicator of how much space each title will require.
